The Torrile and Trecasali Reserve is an oasis of tranquility where anyone can observe nature and wildlife, particularly the birds that have made this place a nesting site. Herons, egrets, and night herons, not to mention the beautiful squacco heron, feed near a huge heronry, while in other spots it’s possible to observe other species such as black-winged stilts, terns, and other waders. Strolling through this reserve, taking photographs or simply reading a good book, instills a sense of peace and tranquility impossible to find in our frenetic cities.

La riserva di Torrile e Trecasali è un oasi di tranquillità dove chiunque può dedicarsi all’osservazione della natura e della fauna selvatica, in particolare l’avifauna che ha fatto di questo posto un sito di nidificazione. Aironi, garzette e nitticore, per non dimenticare la bellissima sgarza ciuffetto, si nutrono nei pressi di una enorme garzaia, mentre in altri punti è possibile osservare altre specie come cavalieri d’italia, sterne e altri limicoli. Passeggiare all’interno di questa riserva fotografando o semplicemente leggendo un buon libro, infonde un senso di pace e tranquillità impossibili da trovare nelle nostre frenetiche città
